Supporting peoples' cancer journeys
The FLA OHT strategy is about empowering people to achieve their best health and wellness. To do this we need to promote health, prevent disease, and work as partners to address illness when it strikes. This month, our newsletter recognizes and champions the work our partners are doing to support people in their cancer journeys. Encouraging participation in cancer screening is vital to keep people healthy and reduce the burden of the disease, but when people are diagnosed with cancer, collaborative, integrated care has the power to help people recover, or support them well at the end of their lives.
