Sydenham Medical Clinic

POSITION:  full time permanent position for a family physician starting June 2027.

The Sydenham Medical Clinic is part of the Rural Kingston FHO, located in the beautiful town of Sydenham. It is a rural practice surrounded by beautiful countryside and many lakes, but just 20 minutes to Kingston. It is part of the RKFHO which includes clinics in the nearby small towns of Verona, Newburgh and Tamworth.

It is a group practice with 3 physicians with access to allied health practitioners including an NP, RN's, dietitian, social workers, practical assistance worker, kinesiologist, physiotherapist and respiratory therapist. It is a comprehensive, cradle to grave practice. Being a rural practice we tend to do our own procedures including lumps/bumps, venipuncture, some lacerations, and ECG's.

There are opportunities to be a preceptor for medical students and/or residents from Queens and Ottawa, as well as for hospital-based work in the nearby community hospitals in Napanee and Perth.
