Greenwood Medical Centre
Positions: We are very excited to now be embarking on an expanded geographic model of practice and we are recruiting locum physicians to help care for this population. We are looking for locums:
- Willing to make a minimum of a 6-month commitment at our clinic, at a minimum of six half days a week.
- Pay is $500 per half day plus shadow and 3rd party billings.
- There are financial incentives for locum physicians willing to commit to a longer term.
- Opportunities will be available summer 2024 and beyond.
- Supports include:
- nursing support with inbox management, with only abnormal results forwarded to MD
- nursing triage of appointments
- potential for no After Hours Clinic (unless additional hours desired)
- medical assistants to room patients, including dealing with preventative care, vital signs, vaccinations, etc.

Greenwood Medical Centre is a capitated Family Health Organization on the East End of Kingston. There are 5 permanent family doctors at our site along with nursing staff and specialists. We are beside a pharmacy, Kingston Medical Imaging, Breast Imaging Kingston and Kingston Orthopedic Pain Clinic, as well as physiotherapy orthotics and brace care.
