Urgent Care
Urgent means adults or children needing care within 24 hours who are unable to get a same-day appointment with a family doctor - includes minor broken bones, burns, or cuts needing stitches.

Resources include public health clinics, a provincial helpline for services & programs, and community paramedicine.
Emergency Care
Call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Emergency for critical or life-threatening conditions that need immediate attention.
