A Sweetwater Ceremony is an Indigenous tradition marking the arrival of spring and the maple syrup season, celebrating the "sweet water" (sap) from maple trees. It is a time for community gathering, gratitude, and honoring the land.

Join the Katarokwi Grandmother's Council for this special ceremony, which will include drums, singing, dancing, teachings, sacred fire, door prizes and more.

WHERE: Kingston Community Health Centres, 263 Weller Ave, Kingston ON

WHEN: Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 10:30 am to 3 pm
