Indigenous Cultural Safety Training for health-care teams

"Bamenim - To Care For"

This free virtual training by the Ontario Native Women’s Association is open to all FLA OHT health care teams. 

The training will offer practical knowledge, tools and resources to help address racism and improve equitable care for Indigenous women and families. 

Participants will gain:

• Greater knowledge of the Indigenous Traditional teachings
  
• Deepen awareness of the realities Indigenous women and families face in the health-care system
  
• Transform your approach to caring, reflecting on the spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental aspects of wellbeing
  
• Embrace reconciliation in action
