Join this FREE 11-week virtual workforce training program for 1.5 hours/week. This interactive learning series will be facilitated by health professionals experience in the care of older adults. It is designed for health and social care professionals

Tier 1 (3 Weeks): Foundations in Geriatrics for Interprofessional Teams
- Topics focused on foundational concepts such as what older adults
want, the interprofessional team approach, age-related changes,
ageism, communication, processes of care and frailty
Tier 2 (8 Weeks): Enhanced Knowledge and Skill Development in the Care of Older Adults
- Focused on applying the following topics to care: function, medication, delirium, dementia, responsive behaviours, mental health, substance
use, pain, sleep, falls, nutrition, continence, intimacy & sexuality, caregivers, risk, social connectivity, care planning and system navigation.
