Walk-in & Access Clinics

These primary care clinics offer various in-person medical services for adults and children, either when you do NOT have a doctor or when your doctor is not available. Depending on the clinic, people may or may not need an appointment.

CDK Family Medicine & Walk-in Clinic 

• Providing primary care to any individuals in the community
• Located at 175 Princess Street, Kingston 
  • Note: CDK's other site at 105 Sutherland Drive, Kingston is not a walk-in clinic; it is ONLY for rostered patients with booked appointments
• People can walk in without an appointment.
• Regular hours: Monday – Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM; Saturday and Sunday: 10 AM – 2 PM

Access+ Clinic, a site of Kingston Community Health Centres (KCHC)

• This Access+ Clinic offers low barrier and judgement-free primary care services for individuals who do NOT have a primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner):
  • OB Wheel - for prenatal care and being connected to physician, nurse practitioner, obstetrician or midwife
  • Well Baby Clinic - for infants without a primary care provider
  • Sexual Health - for contraception, pregnancy testing, PAP test and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI)
  • Quick Test Clinic - for anyone who needs STI testing
  • Refugee/Newcomer Bridging Clinic - for those referred by a recognized settlement agency (KEYS, ISKA, ACFOMI)
• These are not walk-in clinics - for most clinics an appointment is needed.
• Regular Hours (all these clinics are CLOSED 12-1 pm):
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Tuesdays 8 am - 4 pm

Sharbot Lake Family Health Team After Hours Urgent Care

• This walk-in clinic is for both rostered and non-rostered people
• You do not have to be a registered/rostered patient at their clinic to access the After-Hours Urgent Care clinic, however, they encourage you to FIRST contact your primary care provider prior to attending the clinic.
• People can walk in without an appointment.
• Regular hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 5 – 8 PM
