June is National Indigenous History Month
June is a time to recognize and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. Also on June 21st - National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada.
The FLA OHT observes this month as a reminder of the importance of equity—ensuring that care is culturally safe, responsive, and rooted in respect for the diverse identities and experiences of the people we serve.
